Company Spotlight: 4Ocean

4Ocean is one of many companies I will be spotlighting on this blog, but I thought I should do them first. 4Ocean is a company working towards clean and aquatic safe oceans. They use funds from their products to clean the ocean, which is one of the reasons I love their company.

So, what does 4Ocean do exactly? Well, for every bracelet you buy, 4Ocean will use the profits to clean 1 lb of trash out of the ocean. The bracelets range around $15 which is a deal if your helping the environment. The bracelet beads are made from recycled glass and the chords are made from recycled water bottles. They are adjustable, waterproof, and look pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Now, one pound of plastic doesn't seem like much, but its what happens when multiple people buy them that it makes a huge impact. Say 100 people buy a bracelet each, that's 100 lbs of plastic out of the ocean. So the more people to pitch in, the better.

4Ocean also has specific bracelets that help even more. Some bracelets will also have the profits go to a specific foundation. They have polar bear, whale shark, and sea turtle bracelets that make even more of a difference.

4Ocean is a great company if you want to make an impact but don't have courage or a platform to do so. By buying one, not only are you getting a cool bracelet but you're helping remove some of the plastic in the ocean. Like the name of my blog, one small step can make a huge difference, it just depends on whether you are willing to take that step.
